High-Protein Budget Meal: Lentil Soup

  • Ingredients 


1 cup red lentils (high in protein)


1 small onion, chopped


2 cloves garlic, minced


1 medium carrot, diced


1 tsp cumin (boosts digestion)


½ tsp turmeric (anti-inflammatory)


4 cups vegetable broth (adds flavor and nutrients)


1 tbsp olive oil (healthy fats)


Salt & pepper to taste



Instructions:
